  1. I start university next year and want to purchase a tablet, I’m trying to decide between apple iPad 4 (the most recent one) and Samsung galaxy note 10.1 (2014 edition which is yet to be released). Currently I’m leaning towards the Samsung more because I like the style of OS and the neat multi tasking it offers along with the stylus, I think for a university student the Samsung tablet would be easier for notes/research etc along with field work (I’m going into a envio science course). However I’ve had many apple products myself (iPod touch, nano, iPhone etc) and know how fast the iOS is, but I’m thinking the simplicity of the iPad perhaps will prove to be to difficult when wanting to do more complicated tasks eg efficient note taking with pictures & graphs.

So what’s your opinion? Samsung tablet or apple? And why?

Any university students which use either tablet please say what you like/dislike about the tablet & and suggestions!!

Thanks!! 10pts for most helpful answer

  2. I’m thinking of singing up for a new cell phone with T-Mobile. T-Mobile only has 4G right now. I’m wondering what the speed difference is between 4G and LTE is and how much faster one is over the other. I’m signing up for an unlimited data plan so I do plan on watching lots of videos and listening to Tunin and surfing the web a lot.

  3. Ive notice on the Galaxy’s it shows up as 4g and for people who are in LTE area. Just seeing How i can find out if it’s LTE for sure.

I live in minneapolis and I dont have LTE quite yet for Sprint. But when it does come i would like to know. And does the GS3 have just 4G for sprint?

If i bought a carburetor from a 1985 suzuki lte quadrunner ge would it work for a lte 1987 quadrunner model? i dont wannt chip out 250 dollars to get one but i found one that works for 58. If you can find a carburator for the exact model for a good deal id be very thankfull.

  5. I mean for internet not for phone calls. i’ve been searching for a while now for Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 3G & Wifi <<<< however i cant find versions of the tablet with 3g in the samsung stores :S
they only have the wifi version on their site and in the tech specs theres no slot for sim card. but i've seen videos on youtube of people putting their sim cards into tabs :S really confused. please link a site in canada where i can buy the 3g enabled device. thank you :)

  6. How does the sim card work, what model do I need, what is 3GB and 4GB/WiFi etc?

  7. I have been browsing ebay recently and I saw a few tablets that caught my eye but i’m not really sure which ones are good. Here are the ones I have been keeping an eye on:
    -Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 inch SCH-I905 16GB
-iRulu 10.1 inch tab with keyboard 8GB (this one is really cheap on ebay)
    - Asus Eee pad transformer 10.1 inch 16GB
    These all run Android.

Basically, i’m not looking to spend big bucks and I just need a tablet for fast internet browsing and maybe typing up some documents. Is there one you guys recommend that isn’t on my list?

  8. Samsung galaxy note 10.1
    Samsung galaxy tab 2 10.1
    Samsung galaxy tab 3 10.1

I will mostly use it for internet browsing, travelling, just playing around at home and to take it to work(private teaching) but then again, I would like to be able to multitask(eg. listening to music and browsing), good camera, skype.

    Which would be better?

  9. I am a techguy and I know a lot about phones, but still, I wanted to know your opinion.

My brother bought his wife an iPhone 5 recently, and after using it , I realised that it really gives you a special feeling (a feeling of using a premium product) when you use it. I haven’t had an S3 yet, but I’m familliar to Android, as my tablet is Android-powered (Samsung Galaxy Tab II 10.1). I have used S3s, though. Typical Android-phone. Based on functionality, Android is much better than iOS, but still it’s one of the ugliest and buggiest mobile operating Systems I ever used.
iPhone on the other hand, is a simple attractive-looking device which gets the job done, but I’d love to have the Android possibilities on an iPhone.

So, what’s your opinion? Have you used either othe two? Tell me your stories. ;-)

    Thank you in advance.

  10. Hi, I am interested in purchasing the nook color and would like to know more owner perspectives on it. Major use for reading of course, but is it true you can take online college classes on it like a computer, use facebook, listen to music for free, et. Please let me know what you think about the devise. Pros, cons, anything and everything. Thank you!

  11. I was looking for tablets today on ebay, and found an auction that had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for $20.00 right now. He has nothing but positive and neutral ratings and good reviews. I have no idea if it’s fake or not.

  12. Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 Wi-Fi 16GB GT-P5113 – IR Blaster in gray colour

i want to buy to buy this tablet and i have no good knowledge about tablet this would be my first tablet

i want to know is it have dual camera and how its mega pixel and what is spec compare to others tablet

please tell.me in detail i am waiting for your cool answers

  13. There is so many to choose from but Im torn on which to choose?
    theres the
    ipad air
ipad mini and Samsung tab 10.1 2014 edition?
which i cant seem to decide which to choose for school and other personal things!

Is there any way that the samsung can download torrents in the tablet?

I really do appreciate if you let me know your opinions on these tablets. And if you got to choose one of the three or any other which one would you choose?

There are so many good reviews online and i cant seem to decide!
    Thanks in advance
    Crazie

  14. Considering the Galaxy tab 3 has a 10″ version then what’s the difference between the tab 2 and tab 3?

  15. I found on the internet that the Xperia tablet has a better processor and better camera resolution, but i also found that the galaxy tab has better reviews. Now i’m confused and i don’t know which which tablet i should buy. What are the advantages of buying one tablet or the other? Thanks!

  16. Ive had my xoom for about a year now and its great, but its slow and ive had to factory reset it 3 times. I just recently saw the samsung galaxy 10.1 commercial….i watched some reviews and i kind of want one. I was thinking about completely erasing the xoom and getting one of those. But im not sure. Please help me decide.

  17. will netflix ever come?

  18. I am looking at different tablets and doing research and it comes down to these two Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 or the Asus TF300T 16GB Transformer Pad 10.1, and I just can’t seem to make a decision. I just don’t want to waste money on a product and then have it turn out to something wrong with it. Both products have alot of good and bad reviews and it making me crazy, so I would really appreciate some help?

  19. I am currently debating between the Samsung Galaxy Tab® 2 10.1 Student Edition, and the HP ElitePad 900 G1 Tablet.

The Samsung comes with a dock and a keyboard, and costs $350. The HP doesn’t come with anything, costs $700, but I get it on a discount for $450.

Both have good reviews, and I think I’d prefer to have the HP, but the Samsung is such a good deal!
    Which one should I get?

  20. I am getting the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7-inch for Christmas. I don’t usually drop my electronics, but my Otterbox Commuter saved my iPhone a couple times. Do I really need a case, or is the Galaxy Tab fairly durable? It seemed to hold up fairly well in drop tests.

  21. I am planning to buy either iPad 2 or 3, however, i have been advised with Samsung tab 10.1 they said it is better. I am confused which one is the best and why? FYI, i am an apple product user, i use iPhone, and MacBook Pro
